Engineered for enhanced lifetime and visibility both day and night, preformed thermoplastic pavement markings are made with high quality reflective media uniformly distributed throughout the material during the manufacturing process. This allows for continued retroreflectivity as the material wears over time. When installed under ideal conditions, preformed thermoplastic can be one of the most durable pavement marking systems available. To increase already high durability consider inlaying preformed thermoplastic. Grooving into the asphalt and then heating the preformed thermoplastic into the groove allows the product to "melt" down into the road and offers additional sustainability against conditions such as snowplowing.

Preformed thermoplastic is typically used for standard highway projects but can also be customized and used to create private logos and designs to enhance any property.

Combined with our asphalt stamping technology, inlaying thermoplastic can offer a unique alternative to high traffic pedestrian areas. This system offers many color and pattern choices both of which can also be customized if desired. Inlaid stamped thermoplastic can resist normal wear and tear, offer color stability and can be easily maintained with minimal traffic disruption.

Fine Line also offers installation of temporary and permanent pavement marking tapes. Temporary tapes offer the advantage of being able to shift traffic for work zone areas without having to remove and reinstall painted pavement markings. When combined with asphalt grooving, permanent pavement marking tapes offer durable markings with superior color and daytime visibility with increased wet reflectivity at night.
